Media coverage concerning the devastating Hurricane Michael is only a tip of the iceberg. What is still going on will make even the toughest man cry. Men, women and children of all ages and all walks of life are continuing to be evicted from their homes despite all the efforts of rebuilding. Prices have doubled and even tripled in price to what is left. If that isn't enough, vacationers are still coming in and not enough workers to go round. It's hard to get an oil change even in the neighboring towns due to human shortage. What was home is now stubble and memories. "Panhandle Strong" is a term used to describe the natives of Florida who survived Hurricane Michael as they continue to pull together and hang in there. I am writing this article in every effort to point out that help is still in demand and they desperately need your help in anyway given. If you can't find a place or a way to help that you feel comfortable with, please contact the Saint Andrew Baptist Church in Panama City, FL. They are a major provider with supporting, feeding, clothing and helping locals in need. We thank you to all who has, will and continue to provide support. May they always be in your heart and in your prayers.
