Living in coastal areas are always a challenge, but incredibly worth it; as some residence would say. They are prone to storms, and climate changes that impact in more ways than we may know. Oil spills are tragic accidents and should never be ignored. That is why Author/Illustrator, C.G. Abrams, is doing what she can to raise awareness of keeping our oceans and beaches clean. "Art is therapy". "The best way to do something, is to do something better" Not better art, but to be better humans, teachers, learners, healers and guides; to a brighter and cleaner future. The BP Oil Spill: Deepwater Horizon 2010, was indeed something we had not seen in my generation living in the Gulf of Mexico. We are reminded daily how important it is to follow the best example.
